GO OUT and DANCE!
Be Aware of the Bumps, and Enjoy the Ride!
Mastering dancing is HARD, and it's SLOW. You have
to accept and understand it. It's like going up the staircase: you
can't really get to the top of it immediately. IT TAKES TIME and
EFFORT and NOT GIVING UP. You may be frustrated sometimes (with
yourself, or your partner, or your teacher), because you can't get
the movement or pattern. Everyone goes through these periods of
ups and downs. Please don't be hard on yourself. You WILL get it
later and you'll be HAPPY. If you hang in there, you'll love it,
and it will become a beautiful part of your life that brings you
the connection with yourself, your body, and the music, and the
partner.
This is one of your BEST INVESTMENTS. It is not watching SOMEBODY
doing something and enjoying life, It's YOU participating, doing,
and living your life full.
